About Andy

My belief is that we as human beings are capable of much more than we realise. In order to be successful, I strive to be open minded, visionary and to embrace the future. I firmly believe that both in my professional and personal life, it is important to work with a growth mindset where all experiences whether positive or negative, can teach us something if we take the time to look.

Life is a Sine Curve is the result of my experiences in life, as an ultramarathon runner and now as an ultra-running coach and my first post explains the methodology. I hope that in some way, these posts help to equip you with the practical tools you need to traverse your highs and lows – in sport and in life.

Ultramarathon running has given me the confidence to continuously challenge myself in everything I do. If you are struggling to achieve a goal or looking for specific advice, then I’d love to help – email me at andy@lifeisasinecurve.com to start your journey.

7 benefits of running every day for a year

Today, I ran 5 miles to complete my first year’s run-streak, running at least a mile a day every day for 365 consecutive days and I plan to continue this daily rhythm throughout 2021. Superfit @ 50: no more ultra-running for a while …..!?

It has been a while since my last post during which I mentioned that my Lyme’s disease seemed to be causing a problem with my right hip. A visit to the doctor followed by an x-ray revealed that the cartilage in my hip was thin with that my left hip looking a little better; the […]
